I have a year of Gerber/Lectra CAD design experience, this being my favorite project throughout my studies. I designed a capelet with a removable cape extension that was heavily inspired by the "princess-core" fashion trend that is currently popular. Here you can see my CAD design and development process, from sketch to final garment.
